Cervélo S5 Force Aero Road Bike – Five Black - New MY27 Colourway

The new 2027 Cervélo S5 in Five Black is the stealth option in Cervélo’s latest aero race platform. Deep, gloss black shaping gives the bike a purposeful race look, letting the frame’s aggressive aero profiles, bayonet fork and one-piece cockpit do the talking.

The latest S5 builds on Cervélo’s long-standing position at the front of the aero road category. The updated frame is claimed to be over 6 watts faster than the previous generation while also saving 124 grams. Most of the aerodynamic improvement comes from the front of the bike, where Cervélo has refined the head tube, fork legs and HB19 one-piece handlebar/stem system.

The HB19 cockpit uses Cervélo’s “Plus-Four” concept, meaning the hoods are 4cm narrower than the drops. This helps riders hold a narrower, more aerodynamic position on the hoods while still giving stability and control in the drops for sprinting, descending and fast cornering.

The S5 is also designed around Cervélo and Reserve’s aero wheel integration. On complete builds, the Reserve 57|64TA wheelset works with the asymmetric seat tube and rear-wheel cut-out to smooth airflow across the whole bike.
